"HINDI URDU SANJHE BOL"
"HINDI URDU SANJHE BOL"
“Here in your own Metro Atlanta”
A unique Kavi Sammelan/Mushaira: "HINDI URDU SANJHE BOL" is coming again with a new and exciting theme and thought.
Hindi and Urdu are possibly the only two languages which are world apart in their script, but while speaking, there are a lot of similarities. Both languages originate from the same common place -- India.
Urdu and Hindi are like two sisters – while Urdu prefers to be wrapped in Persian shawl, Hindi prefers the inherited jewelry from Sanskrit. Languages preserve and enrich the cultural heritage as much as they allow us to appreciate ideas, emotions and knowledge of each other. Poetry is the juice, the extract, the most condensed form of a language.
This program brings together poets from multiple nationalities, and provides stage and voice to the "shared words" as much as to the longing for our languages.
“Hindi Urdu Sanjhe Bol" has successfully had ten performances in the past years in Atlanta. Every year, local poets participate and share their creations with audience.
This upcoming event, illustrates shared heritage beautifully!!
Please come, participate, enjoy and become part of "HINDI URDU SANJHE BOL"
