Steve Walden, an experienced angel investor and a board member of the Atlanta Technology Angels, will share with you the “Inside secrets of talking to investors” What they want to hear about you and your company, and more importantly what they don’t want to hear.

Steve Walden is a marketing-savvy CEO, a successful entrepreneur and an active investor in startup companies. As an Angel investor he serves on the board of the Atlanta Technology Angels as well as the boards of multiple portfolio companies.
As Executive Director of the IBM/Sears joint venture called Prodigy, he helped launch the first consumer online service and grew it to a revenue level exceeding $100 million.
At BellSouth (now AT&T) he was a Vice President in the online service division, where his team launched not only BellSouth.net

but also several other related businesses, including a webhosting business that grew to several hundred million dollars in value
Later, he took over the role of Chief Executive Officer of a failing technology company and led it to a successful turnaround. He revitalized the business, leading it into new markets with new products and new energy. Investors received favorable cash payouts as a result of this success.
Currently, he serves on the Boards of more than half a dozen companies and nonprofit organizations and as a member of the Atlanta startup community is an angel investor, a consultant and mentor to several companies
