An engineer turned behavioral scientist, Dr. Krishnamurthy Iyer's career of 43 years spans Operations for 16 years and HR for 27 years in organizations such as Crompton Greaves Ltd. and Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Dr. Iyer is a B.E. (Mech) & MIE (Elec) by qualification, however his passion for people development made him embrace Personnel Management & later HR. After contributing as GM-HR for four plants and a brief stint in internal communications, Dr. Iyer retired as the Sr. General Manager for Learning and Organizational Development from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
Dr. Iyer got his PhD in Human Resources and Change Management from BITS-Pilani in 1998.
Transactional Analysis is a tool to understand "why a person behaves the way he or she behaves" based on Eric Berne's work that one's behavior and social relationships reflect an interplay between parental (critical and nurturing), adult (rational), and child (natural, adapted, little professor and rebel) 'ego' states of personality.
In this program, one can expect:
Effective Communication through awareness of one's own 'ego' states.
Enhanced Ability to manage one's own as well as others' behaviors
Resolution of conflict in the Organizational and Interpersonal spheres.
