Have you heard of Aravind SA? He went viral for being single, he became the quintessential appavi-Chennai-boy-next-door with his 2014 solo show 'Madrasi Da', he sold out shows in record breaking time, toured all over the world with it, was the first special to go one Amazon Prime from a south-Indian comic and was rated one of the top 5 stand up specials from India.
Still doesn't ring a bell? His jokes about the Lungi dance made North Indians love him and hate him! :) His second show 'I Was Not Ready Da' has revamped him into one of the most sought after pan-Indian comics. And the show did a 10-city Completely Houseful, overwhelmingly successful tour of the US in 2018.
