Join me for an evening of music, chanting and community at my first kirtan concert as a solo artist! I will be diving deep into my catalog of sacred music for this offering, and bringing back some chants I haven't done in many years.
The Spirit Messengers is a musical collective that flows and transforms to meet the needs of each event. For this kirtan, I am so happy to be collaborating with Shonali Banerjee, Robyn DesRoches Meek, Don Martin, Stan Holt and Nikki Peppone!
We are also very excited to start this event with a special poetry reading by Michael Burke!
This event will mark the beginning of a residency for Ian Boccio and the Spirit Messengers at Vista Yoga. We will be offering kirtan at this yoga studio in the Oak Grove neighborhood of Decatur every other month through the end of 2020! Keep an eye out for the full schedule of events.
