Insta Reading for kids with Sucheta Rawal

Travel provides a unique education for children. Whether they are exploring just an hour from home or discovering a long-haul destination, the power of understanding and appreciating others' lives and cultures is critical to becoming a global citizen. Travel builds tolerance, empathy and awareness.
As you continue to stay at home, finding creative ways to learn and keep yourself busy, know that I am here for you. I read all my 'Beato Goes To' books on Facebook Live for free to hundreds of kids. Even the real cat, Beato appeared on camera! You can watch the recording here. Read what The New York Times and NPR said about us below.
Last week, I virtually visited all the students attending International Charter Academy of Georgia, through Zoom. My friend and the main character in 'Beato Goes To Japan' - Kazumi - translated the book to Japanese for the dual language immersion school. We had so much fun talking to the kids about Japan.
And this Friday at 10am, I am overtaking Ponce City Market's Instagram account for a virtual live reading.
