This Sunday, July 4th, we will celebrate America the beautiful, and Swamis Vivekananda and Prabhavananda in our first IN PERSON gathering since we locked down early last year. Based on current recommendations from medical authorities, we are opening our doors on Sunday to those who are fully vaccinated and feel comfortable meeting in our relatively small group. Masks are not required but you are certainly welcome to wear one if you choose. For those who are not vaccinated or for any reason prefer to join us online, we will be streaming this Sunday's celebration via Zoom live from the Chapel. We do hope to see you this Sunday, one way or the other!
This Sunday morning at 11am we will gather for the first time in person as a congregation since early 2020. All who are fully vaccinated are welcome to attend in person. The celebration will be live streamed on Zoom for those who prefer to join us online.
Celebration of Our Nation, and of Swamis Vivekananda and Prabhavananda: Short talks, readings, and songs, followed by a potluck lunch in the Monastery.

July is a month for study of Raja Yoga, a spiritual path often called the yoga of meditation. As a raja yogi, you use ancient, proven spiritual techniques to quiet your mind and gain control of your attention.
Regular daily practice of Raja Yoga increases your ability to concentrate, and may lead to meditation. This can unite you with the Divine Presence, the source of your being, and liberate you from the cycle of rebirth and death. In the vocabulary of the raja yogi, this state of liberation is called kaivalya — independence.
