In “Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaaoon “ Javed Akhtar takes you on a journey of how some of his songs were created with anecdotes that regale, amuse, bring a lump to your throat and tear at your heartstrings. How Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga from 1942 A Love Story was created, what was the situation that led to the song Ek Do Teen from Tezaab? What happened when Karan Johar first heard the words of the immortal Kal Ho Na Ho? How AR Rahman only starts working at 2 am and many more back stories with a look Behind The Scenes!

He will be accompanied by famous playback singers of Hindi films… Raman Mahadevan, and Jahnvi Shrimankar who will sing the songs Javed Akhtar will talk about. So brace yourself for an enchanting evening of delightful music, foot tapping rhythms and a journey down memory lane.

The team will consist of Javed Akhatar, Raman Mahadevan (singer), Parthiv Gohil (singer), Jahnvi Shrimankar (singer), 5 musicians - Vishal Dhumal (keyboard), Dharmesh Joshi (keyboard), Hiten Prasad (tabla), Rahul Kahar (drums) and Sunil Pandya (Percussion & production).

About the Artists:

Javed Akhtar: He is a renowned poet, lyricist, and a screenwriter of Bollywood cinema. He is a recipient of the Padma Shri (1999), Padma Bhushan (2007), the Sahitya Akademi Award India's second highest literary honor, for his poetry collection Lava, as well as five National Film Awards. Akhtar was nominated to the Parliament upper house Rajya Sabha on 16 November 2009.

Raman Mahadevan: He is an Indian playback singer, known for his Bollywood songs. He released an indipop album, Ramanasia, in 2007. Raman worked for

the IT and ITeS industry before taking up singing full-time. He learnt Carnatic

music from guru Prasanna Warrier and later from Girija Shesu. He also learnt

tabla from guru Palash Bordoloi. Apart from advertising jingles for Frito Lays,

Pepsi, and Mirinda, he has also sung title song for "Aap Ki Kachehri" and also worked with dandiya groups. He has also released his own music album

Ramanasia in 2007 and was featured in the song Tere Liye, composed by

Saikat-Shankar, released in June 2009.
