Nrupathunga Kannada Koota is celebrating its 40th anniversary

Nrupathunga Kannada Koota (NKK) isa nonprofit cultural association dedicated to the promotion of Kannada language and heritage of Karnataka State. NKK was established in 1973and was approved as tax-exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States government in 1984 and is registeredin the Corporations divisionin the State ofGeorgia. NKK has strived continuouslyto spread, educate and promote the language, arts & culture of Karnataka,India to the younger generation of its community. NKK has adopted a road inAlpharetta area and isresponsible for its maintenance and cleanliness. It awards a $4000 scholarship bythe generosity of Dr. Subrahmanya & Annapurna Bhat. It has donated tovarious charitable causes and has a donated a house in Northern Karnataka to aflood victim family.
