Pan Asian Action Network (PAAN): citizenship, municipal elections

Pan Asian Action Network (PAAN):
discussion on citizenship and 2015 municipal elections

Please JOIN US on for a dinner meeting to exchange ideas and discuss how we can bring more services and power for immigrants and refugees in Georgia related to citizenship and voting! This is our third PAAN meeting this year.

Tentative Agenda:
- Learn more about this year's municipal elections (we will focus on the cities of Duluth, Clarkston, Johns Creek and Forest Park), AAAJ-A's and other group's voter engagement plans, and how immigrant and refugee voters can truly make a difference this year;
- Our 2015 Mini-Grant applications for voter engagement partnership will also be distributed and discussed (we need you!);
- Share and discuss ways we might coordinate citizenship & ESL work and services, including AAAJ-A's free legal hotline and citizenship application assistance.
Please join us for dinner, friendship and engaging conversation! Individuals interested in these topics or in volunteering are always welcome.

Date: Thursday, June 18, 2015
Time: 6:30 pm, dinner provided
Venue: 6040 Unity Dr., Suite E, Norcross, GA 30071 (behind Global Mall)
RSVP: We need a headcount for dinner so RSVP is required, please do so by June 16th to or by joining this event page. THANKS!!
