Prayer Vigil at Centennial Olympic Park in honor of Wisconsin Sikh massacre victims

Heal the World

When tragedy strikes in a community, the first question many of us ask is what can we do to help? Tonight (7:30-9:00 pm) you can join members of the Atlanta Sikh community for a prayer vigil in Centennial Park, as they remember the lives lost in Wisconsin's Sikh massacre. This interfaith prayer vigil is being held to emphasize the need for peace filled communities where all religions are respected.

Event planners request all attending wear white, saffron or blue to show solidarity with members of the Sikh faith.

Volunteers are needed to ensure a safe and well organized event. If you are willing to serve during the vigil please contact SikhVigilAtlanta@gmail.com or show up to the park by 6:30pm.

At our core, each of us desires a better world, steeped in friendship, understanding and love. Even if you cannot participate tell a friend about tonight's vigil and promote on social media using hashtag #SikhVigilATL.

Place: Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta, GA
Time: 7:30-9:00 pm
