Raj Patel is a British Indian academic, journalist, activist and writer who has lived and worked in Zimbabwe, South Africa and the United States for extended periods. He is best known for his 2008 book, Stuffed and Starved: The Hidden Battle for the World Food System.

Monday 12:00pm: Kick Off Event: Refugee Crisis Day: Come out to Cox Bridge to hear some refugees’ stories, play trivia, grab some free food and win prizes!

Tuesday 12:00pm: Kick Off Event: Health and Hunger Day: Join us outside Woodruff Library for interactive activities, Social Justice Week swag and to learn more about health access and food and hunger!

Wednesday 6:00pm: Health and Sanitation Access Panel: Join our esteemed Emory faculty panel at White Hall 206 and hear about the latest issues in health access. Dinner included!

Thursday 6:00pm: Keynote Speaker Raj Patel at Cannon Chapel, 515 South Kilgo Cir NE, Atlanta-- with meet and greet!

Friday 6:00pm: Human Flow movie screening at Harland Cinema. Snacks provided!
