CANCELED: "Raja Ravi Varma: Divinity Reinterpreted"

Anubhav R Nath is Director of Ojas Art in Delhi and co-founder of the Ramchander Nath Foundation, which collects and preserves embellished chromolithographs by Raja Ravi Varma. Many of the Varma images collected by the Nath Foundation are on view in the exhibition Transcendent Deities of India: The Everyday Experience of the Divine. In a lecture titled "Raja Ravi Varma: Divinity Reinterpreted," Nath discusses the historical and cultural importance of Varma and the ways in which he singularly changed the experience of the divine.
