REPRESENT is a day-long program is for creators of color and their allies in news and entertainment media. Top media professionals lead hands-on workshops and real-talk discussions on how to bring diverse stories to a broad audience. With sessions on building a podcast audience, promoting visuals on Instagram, strategy, creating your personal brand online and leadership. Lunch is included.
This event includes a special advanced screening of AMC’s “The Terror: Infamy” and a panel discussion with lead actor Derek Mio, actor/consultant George Takei and showrunner Alexander Woo.
