We will have a special edition of Literature Night at Waller's on Monday, September 30th beginning at 7:30 when we celebrate the 812th birthday of the Sufi mystic poet Rumi.
Agnes Scott Professor Waqas Khwaja will talk about Rumi and Franklin Abbott will perform Rumi songs from his CD Don't Go Back To Sleep with musicians from ensembles he have worked with including pianist Jez Graham, Brazilian singer and guitar player Sander Pinheiro, sarod player Souryadeep Bhattacharyya, multi instrumentalist Ken Gregory, tabla player Anjaneya Sastry, and others TBA. We will also be streaming live on the Waller's Coffee Shop Facebook page.
