Shirdi Sai Parivaar is pleased to invite you for a talk & power point presentation "Eternal Friend: Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj of Akkalkot", on Saturday, October 4th from 10:30 am -11:45 A.M at the Shirdi Sai Temple (Suwanee, GA) hall. The presentation will be given by Dr. Mukund M. Hanumante, student of yoga and devotee of Shri Swami Samarth of Akkalkot. Dr. Mukund, has published two books, A Glimpse of Divinity and Eternal Friend both on Akkalkot Maharaj. He is the Co-Founder of Akkalkot Swami Samarth Foundation a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization engaged in uplifting consciousness & serving the needy in Vedic tradition.
As part of the talk, Dr. Mukund will share some stories which link the Divine incarnations, Shirdi Sai Baba, and Akkalkot Maharaj. Dr. Mukund will also focus upon the true meaning of friendship; highlight the difference between Mitra, Suhrud, and Sakha, the importance of namjap and how even in modern times each one of us can have the Divine as the Eternal Charioteer.
Reference to Akkalkot Maharaj is made in Sai Satcharitha and his padukas are installed under the Neem tree in Shirdi.
