Visit Ackerman Hall to view the sand mandala created by the Tibetan monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery during this highly anticipated ritual of Emory’s Tibet Week. Create your own temporary sand painting using Tibetan chak-purs and colored sand before the Closing Ceremony at 2 PM when the mandala will be “withdrawn,” illustrating the impermanence of all things. Fee: Free to members and children 5 and under; $10 for nonmembers. |
