Summer Camp: Chinmaya Mission Atlanta
- What will be the topic of the Camp?
- This year’s theme is “My Birthday Gifts”
- What are the times of the camp?
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm: SCHEDULE HERE
- Can we drop off our child early?
- Please inform us ahead of time, if parent will be dropping off the child at 7:30 am.
- How will the children be divided?
- The children will be divided into age appropriate groups
- What other activities will the children be doing?
- Yoga will be taught by a Yoga Instructor
- The children will have the opportunity to participate in art projects.
- We will have outdoor activities for the children.
- Workshops will be conducted during the camp.
- Computer classes for kids 9 and above.
- What type of lunch will be served?
- We will provide healthy snacks and a vegetarian lunch.
- Do the children need to bring anything?
- Yes, please bring a beach towel with your child’s name for yoga.
- Also bring a water bottle which they can refill.
- Bring sunscreen, extra pair of clothes and extra towel in Thursdays for water splash fun.
- What should not be brought?
- Leave all electronic devices at home. Your child can bring a cell phone if necessary, but we ask that they only use it when needed. Please note that we are not responsible for any personal items which are brought.
- A laptop for children 9 and above for coding.
- Will there be a place where we should bring our children?
- Please bring your child to the front door of the main hall of Chinmaya Niketan.
- We ask that all parents sign the child in when they arrive and sign them out at the end of the day.
- Will there be medical staff during the camp?
- In case of an emergency, we will call 911 and we will inform the parent listed as emergency contact. A physician will be available onsite throughout the duration of the camp.
- What is the refund policy?
- We can refund in full if cancellation occurs 2 weeks before the camp starts and 50% of the total fees if canceled one week before the camp starts.
- There will be no refunds later than one week before the camp starts.
