First, an update on Br. Shankara: We've set up a Caring Bridge page where you can keep up with how things are going with Br. Shankara's recovery from the hip fracture he suffered recently — visit caringbridge.org/visit/shankara/ for updates, and to leave messages. In a nutshell, surgery went well on Wednesday, and he is going from the hospital to the rehab facility this afternoon. Further updates will be provided on Caring Bridge. Thank you all for your love and prayers.

Saturday, July 1st @ 10am - 2pm SEVA SATURDAY
Please do plan to participate; we’ll be readying your Center for our July 4th Celebration and Swami Sarvapriyananda's visit later next week.
Tuesday, July 4th @ 7pm July 4th Celebration
We will celebrate July 4th — a Tuesday this year — starting with Arati at 7pm in our Chapel. This will be followed by a short discussion about Swami Vivekananda, then by short readings and songs/presentation from congregation members. This event will be more of an open forum as Brother Shankara will be absent. All of this will be available on Zoom, using our regular evening Arati link.
Sometime between 8 and 8:30pm, we will move to the monastery, where our traditional July 4th potluck meal will be shared. The Zoom link will close at this time.

There will be two potluck suppers at the Center while Swami Sarvapriyananda-ji is here for the two-day retreat (see below).
