Call for Story on Essential Workers

Are you an essential worker who was affected by the coronavirus crisis? Or maybe you know essential workers in Georgia—friends, family members, employees—who want to share their stories. Khabar would like to talk to restaurant and store workers, cab drivers or any blue collar worker who experienced difficulties during the pandemic. Challenges could include food insecurity, illness, loss of job or home, and domestic abuse. Undocumented workers and the elderly are encouraged to respond as well. We also want to interview individuals/organizations who are helping these workers, and we want to know how the government’s rescue package is helping them.
