Dr. Rick Levy will speak on the latest discoveries in mind-body medicine and meditation as discussed in the new edition of his book, The Happiness Sutra: How to Lead a Heroic Life Free of Stress. He will guide the audience through The Gearshift – one of The Levy Methods TM that combines mental relaxation and focusing procedures allowing the user to harness vast amounts of mental power, far beyond what can normally be accessed, and focus it laser-like on achieving any noble goal of their choosing.
Dr. Rick Levy is an author, clinician, researcher, professor and consultant who has worked at the forefront of mind-body medicine for more than 40 years. His clinical practice is at The Levy Centers for Mind-Body Medicine and Human Potential, three clinic/retreat centers in the Washington, DC area. He is Chair Professor of Mind-Body Medicine and Human Excellence at Amity University, INDIA – India’s #1 private non-profit university, with multiple campuses in India and in London, Beijing, Mauritius, Dubai, Singapore, Boulder CO, Sacramento CA, Newark NJ and most recently, Oakdale NY. Dr. Levy serves as Director of Amity University’s Levy Centre for Mind-Body Medicine that is now in two locations, at Amity’s campus near New Delhi in Noida, UP, INDIA, and in Oakdale, New York, USA.
