What if we told you that almost one-third of adults globally – 1.6 billion people – do not have a have a bank account? This makes life monumentally difficult for families to save for a child’s schooling, withstand economic shocks, or pay for education and health.
Financial Inclusion is Powerful. Expanding access to access to payment systems, financial accounts and affordable loans allows individuals and families to increase their standard of living, start their own businesses, and act as economic growth agents.
Robin Moriarty, SVP and COO at Equifax International, and Vidhya Sriram, Deputy Director for Savings Groups at CARE, will share with Council members how one of the world’s leading credit agencies and humanitarian organizations are tackling the worldwide issue and helping raise the global standard of living.
