Understanding Gender Equity, Violence, and Related Laws

Understanding Gender Equity, Violence, and Related Laws
Public · Hosted by NRN Georgia USA
Namaste! "Prevention is better than cure." In light of the current news on gender related violence and harassment in all over US media, it's time we, as a Nepali community, started this discussion to become aware of such issues and how to prevent them. This is an educational, interactive, and informative program to understand the details of what constitutes Gender Violence and Sexual Harassment at home, workplace, and street. And, also this program aims to make people understand the related US Laws so that we are an informed community. An informed community is a stronger community.

Facebook Live: Surya Lamsal, Bishwa Subba
The program will have professional and field expert Guest Speakers from Raksha and Tapestri, two non-profits working in this field.
The program is initiated by NRNA USA Georgia Chapter in partnership with Nepalese Association of Georgia (NAG) and Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA).
Everyone is welcome!
Thank you,
