VT Seva Atlanta organizing a Annual Cultural Meet : To support Tribal and Visually challenged children.
VT SEVA is a non-profit Voluntary organization, committed to helping the needy and deprived, with its presence in several countries. VT SEVA, Atlanta, as a part of broader VT SEVA USA, it actively engaged in helping local community. VT SEVA Atlanta has conducted Food Drives during Christmas season and Blood Donation camp in April for Red Cross America. Our volunteers regularly assist Atlanta food Bank in sorting and packing several pounds of food for homeless. We worked with Habitat for Humanity in June and July in building homes. We also actively worked with the Indian Consulate in promoting International Yoga day. We also volunteered at Hands on Atlanta and Books for Africa. Perhaps the most gratifying volunteer work in the current year has been assisting local community organizations for relief activities for people impacted by IRMA. Our volunteers helped in serving food, providing shelter to the displaced.
VT SEVA India is engaged in providing education to poor children located in remote tribal villages in deep forests, and for Blind kids through its Nethra Vidyalayas. We are hosting a singing competition for bringing awareness in the community about our services, and help those less fortunate kids. This Cultural event is geared towards involving larger community in the VT SEVA activities, and to increase awareness in children.
