Welcoming Community Dialogue Summit
Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) and Global Ubuntu are working together to support community dialogues on social issues and/or themes in communities throughout the state of Georgia. The aim of the dialogues is to create space for community members of differing backgrounds, races and abilities to discuss and dream of a society where everyone is treated with dignity and justice.
These Welcoming Community Dialogues are paving the way toward an equitable and just society where all people - regardless of race, nationality, culture, class, ability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, educational status, gender identity, or religion - are treated with respect.
We invite you to join us at the Welcoming Communities Dialogue Summit on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Clarkston Community Center, 3701 College Ave, Clarkston, GA 30021 as we discuss and discover the foundations for and defining elements of Welcoming Communities.
Come to talk, listen, and learn with others who are actively involved in changing our world for the better through conversations and collaborative action. Admittance is free, space is limited and registration is required. Please use the link provided to register at your earliest convenience and feel free to share the attached flyer.
