Gwinnett County is participating, bringing together immigrants and U.S.-born residents in a spirit of unity to raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming everyone -- including new Americans.

Car Seat Check Station
Korean Association of Greater Atlanta
5900 Brook Hollow Parkway, Norcross (during Korean Festival)
The car seat check is open to anyone in the community that would like to have a specialized technician test and inspect
their car seat. Open to all Gwinnett County residents; Spanish and Korean-speaking techs will be onsite.

ESL/LEP – Communicating an Emergency
Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services will host its English as a Second Language program. This program is designed for residents of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) to learn how to communicate a fire and/or medical emergency when calling 911. The curriculum has been created in key languages that are spoken in Gwinnett with a focus on communicating the emergency in English.
