Ulajh is an espionage drama which had immense potential to be a slick atmospheric thriller had the plot been a little more intelligent and the writing sharper. The convoluted second half just collapses. Which is a pity because Ulajh—probably the first Bollywood movie to deal seriously with the coveted Indian Foreign Service— deserved better.
