Will Janhvi Kapoor step into her mother’s shoes for Chaalbaz remake?
The big buzz this time is that Janhvi Kapoor might step into her late mother Sridevi's shoes for the remake of her iconic 1989 film Chaalbaaz. Initially announced in 2021 as Chaalbaz in London, the project was to star Sharaddha Kapoor but production delays have apparently led to a casting change. Janhvi is said to be very excited about the offer but is taking her time to sign on the dotted line.
Meanwhile, Janhvi made a stunning debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. She was there to promote her film Homebound along with co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa.
