Atlanta Tamil Church organizes QADASH 2022
Atlanta Tamil Church (ATC), a non-denominational Christian church located in Norcross with a focus on the Tamil community in the U.S.A., is led by Reverend Palmer Paramadhas for more than 20 years now. ATC’s outreach ministries conducted QADASH 2022, a community event named for children living in the locality of Cumming, Suwanee, and Johns Creek on Dec 6. Qadash in the Hebrew language refers to being observed as Holy. Jesus came into this world to save people from their sinful ways. In remembrance of being consecrated by His blood, Atlanta Tamil Church celebrates the birth of Jesus with the local community families and friends.
The church always had a passion to reach out to the community with the love and good news of the Savior Jesus Christ. In a world that is becoming more digitally connected but less intimate, the human heart wants deeply to belong. The congregation of ATC took efforts to pour love into the local community in this much-needed time of recovery from the pandemic.
The event started with a prayer and was followed by a wonderful time of worship where kids from the church and the local community had an opportunity to show their love to the Creator. Reverend Palmer Paramadhas shared the word of God with the gathering. More than 70 families, which included 124 kids and 95 adults, gathered at the Old Atlanta Recreation Center in Suwanee from 1pm to 6 pm.
Kids of all ages performed songs and dances with much zeal and love. Fun-filled games were conducted for all age groups of kids and winners grabbed surprise prizes. Nail art and face painting stalls in the event attracted the kids and parents too! Kids enjoyed delicious pizza and also got a surprise visit from Santa who came all the way from the North Pole. Santa was gracious enough to give gifts to every child who made it to the event. The kids enjoyed clicking pics with Santa!
This is a testament to the Church's vision and mission that transcend geography, race, and spiritual background.
