Music Festival to Celebrate Maestro’s Golden Jubilee

Pandit Jasraj will be accompanied by maestros, Ustad Zakir Hussein (tabla) and Dr. L. Subramaniam (violin) in an unprecedented all day classical music festival

Sangeet Martand, Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj is a virtual demigod in Indian classical music today. It is no wonder that this living legend has been performing for 50 years now. And in celebration, the Atlanta branch of the Pandit Jasraj School of Arts, along with the Indian Classical Music Society ? ICMS of Atlanta will host an all day event that is sure to present what is often described as ?the music of the Gods'.

This landmark event scheduled for June 14th will be further graced by two other maestros, violin virtuoso Dr.L Subramaniam, followed by the inimitable Ustad Zakir Hussain on Tabla.
