Aamir Khan to step into Tom Hanks’ shoes

Who can forget Tom Hanks’ memorable performance as a dim-witted but warm-hearted man from Alabama in the iconic Hollywood fantasy-drama Forrest Gump? Well, our very own Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is all set to step into Hanks’ shoes in the Bollywood remake of the Oscar-winning movie. Titled Lal Singh Chaddha, the film is being co-produced by Aamir himself and directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame.
Forrest Gump was based on the novel of the same name by Winston Groom that revolved around several iconic moments in the life of the character that Tom Hanks essayed.
