Actor-comedian Jagdeep passes away

Veteran actor-comedian Jagdeep passed away on July 8 due to age-related health issues. He was 81. A much loved comedian who acted in around 400 films, Jagdeep is best remembered for his role as Soorma Bhopali in the blockbuster Sholay. He is survived by three children, among them actor Javed Jaffrey.
