Ajay Devgn might star opposite Jennifer Lopez

Buzz is that Ajay Devgn is set to play King Ashoka in an Indo-French project that he bagged recently. The film being produced by Manuel Collas de La Roche (a Cannes festival regular) will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Apparently, the makers are trying to rope in a big name from Hollywood for the female lead to make the project truly international, and one of the names they’ve shortlisted is Jennifer Lopez “because she can pull off an Indian queen role as her features are quite Indian.” We’ll just have to wait and watch.
