Anushka Sharma also skips, prefers to holiday with Virat Kohli

There was someone else who gave the annual mega event a miss. Despite being in New York, Anushka Sharma did not attend the show. Rather, she preferred to go grocery shopping with her beau Virat Kohli and also meet up with a childhood friend. Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor was also in New York but was busy shooting for his upcoming film.
Other stars who skipped IIFA this year were Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, and Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
