B’wood beckons Penelope Cruz
Fans of Penelope Cruz in India have reason to rejoice. Bollywood has caught the fancy of the gorgeous Hollywood actress and she is all set to produce an India-centric film. Penelope has confirmed that her pet project will take off soon. However, the search for a director is still on for the English-language film that is backed by Cruz's newly launched company, 88 Producciones. What's more, it's comely Cruz herself who is slated to play the lead role, that of a real life flamenco dancer who falls in love with and marries an Indian maharaja. Shooting will take place in France, Spain and India later this year for the movie, which is based on Javier Moro's novel Indian Passion.
