As Ajay Devgan turned 42 on April 2, he tweeted, “Since it’s my birthday, why doesn’t someone serve us the World Cup on a platter?” Well, someone surely heard him, as the Men in Blue lifted the coveted trophy that day after 28 long years. The country erupted with joy, and so did Bollywood. Many stars were spotted at the stadium itself where the Final was played out, adding a dash of glamor to the historic occasion—Aamir Khan with wife Kiran Rao, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Vivek Oberoi, Ameesha Patel, to name just a few.
In fact, the celebrations are still continuing with grand parties being hosted in honor of skipper MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar by the likes of Aamir Khan and John Abraham, who happens to be a close buddy of Dhoni.
