Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, just married!
It’s official! Bollywood’s most loved couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, exchanged wedding vows at a luxurious villa in Italy’s stunningly picturesque Lake Como, not once but twice! Yes, the two got married, first in a traditional Konkani style wedding on November 14, and then again in a ceremony as per Sindhi rituals on November 15.
The ecstatic groom and his baraat arrived in boats, dancing to Bollywood songs for the Sindhi wedding. Earlier, Ranveer was in his element during the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies that kickstarted the grand, though fiercely intimate, wedding celebrations. (Only around 40 people, including family and close friends were present). He even played the dhol for his lady love as she blushed!
An engagement ceremony was held on November 13, at which Ranveer in his signature style went down on his knees to ask for Deepika’s hand. He also professed his love for the bride-to-be in a romantic speech, leaving her in tears.
