Deepika Padukone to play Draupadi in Mahabharata

First Rani Padmaavati, and now Deepika Padukone is all set to play the Pandav queen Draupadi in Madhu Mantena’s ambitious production, Mahabharata. Seen through the eyes of Draupadi, the film will be a fresh take on the epic. It will be made as a series, with the first part slated to release on Diwali 2021. Incidentally, Deepika is also coproducing the movie. The buzz is that Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan will play Lord Krishna and Karna respectively. There is no official confirmation, however, about this.
