Deepika Padukone to play Suhana Khan’s mother in King

Deepika Padukone is all set to grace the silver screen again after her maternity break. It is confirmed now that the new mom will be playing Suhana Khan’s mother in King, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan. Abhishek Bachchan is rumored to be playing the antagonist in the movie, which is said to be a revengedriven thriller loosely inspired by the 1994 French classic Leon: The Professional.

There is also a strong buzz that Deepika will reunite with her Kalki costar Prabhas for Spirit, which is being directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy of Animal fame.
