MOVIE UPDATE
Kartik Aaryan will be seen as India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar in the movie Chandu Champion. Directed by Kabir Khan, this biopic is slated to hit the screens on June 14. It also stars Shraddha Kapoor.
Also finally releasing on June 14 is Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, which was earlier scheduled for a November release last year. Kangana plays the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in it.
Imran Khan is all set to make a comeback to Bollywood after a hiatus of nine years. The actor will be seen in a quirky comedy titled Happy Patel, to be produced by none other than Aamir Khan, his famous uncle. However, this is unconfirmed.
Sunny Deol and Ayushmann Khurrana have reportedly signed up for Border 2, to be released on January 23, 2026. JP Dutta, who directed the earlier film (1997), is returning to make the sequel.
