MOVIE UPDATE
Two much-awaited films, Dhadak 2 and War 2, are scheduled for an August release. While the release date for the former is August 1, the latter is slated to hit the screens on August 14, the eve of India’s Independence Day.
Another anticipated release of August is the Siddharth Malhotra- Janhvi Kapoor starrer Param Sundari. This cross-cultural love story was earlier slated to hit the screens in July.
Aamir Khan and his cousin Mansoor Khan are collaborating as producers on a film after 17 years. Titled Ek Din, the movie stars Junaid Khan and the very talented Southern star Sai Pallavi. Sai will also be seen as Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher has returned to direction after 23 years with Tanvi: The Great. The story revolves around an autistic girl who aspires to join the Indian Army. Anupam made his directorial debut with Om Jai Jagadish in 2002.
