MOVIE UPDATE
The two films slated for a Diwali release on October 21 are the Anurag Basu-directed yet untitled romantic musical starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, and Thama, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.
After Param Sundari, Janhvi Kapoor will now be seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, in which her co-star is Varun Dhawan. The romantic comedy is slated to hit the screens on Dussehra day, October 2.
Two much awaited sequels—Go Goa Gone 2 and Malang 2—are also expected to hit the screens in October (15th and 30th respectively). Go Goa Gone was released in 2013, and Malang in 2020.
Filmmaker Priyadarshan has officially confirmed his next project Haiwaan, which reunites Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after 17 years. The two actors were last seen in the 2008 film Tashan. Haiwaan is said to be the Hindi adaptation of the 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam.
