Priyanka might be cast as Parveen Babi

The buzz is that Bengali director Agnidev Chatterjee is keen to cast Priyanka Chopra as Parveen Babi in a movie that he wants to make on the late actress. “I think that Priyanka is as successful in today’s time as Parveen Babi was back then,” says he. Chatterjee, who wants to focus on Parveen’s stardom as opposed to her personal life, will also make a Bengali version of the film.
Meanwhile, after In My City and Exotic, Priyanka recently released her third single, I Can’t Make You Love Me. The actress also met American pop singer Britney Spears in Las Vegas recently, and couldn’t stop raving about her.
