Ravindra Jain is no more
The well known music composer, lyricist, and singer Ravindra Jain, affectionately called Daddu, is no more. He breathed his last at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on October 9 following prolonged illness. He was 71. Born blind, Jain began his musical career in the early 70s and went on to compose some of the most memorable numbers in hit films like Chitchor, Ankhiyon ke Jharokhon Se, and Henna, to name just a few.
Film personalities like Lata Mangeshkar, Rishi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Shaan, among many others, bid a tearful adieu to the man known as the ‘multitasking musician.’
