RIP, Wajid Khan and Basu Chatterjee

Wajid Khan died of a cardiac arrest in the wake of complications due to Covid-19. The much loved and respected 47-year-old singer-composer had underlying kidney issues too. Wajid along with his brother Sajid became highly popular for the music albums of Salman Khan’s Dabanng, Wanted and Ek Tha Tiger.

Veteran film director Basu Chatterjee also passed away on June 4. Often called ‘Bollywood’s chronicler of simple romances’, he was 93 and best known for delightful films like Choti Si Baat, Chitchor, Khatta Meetha, and Chameli Ki Shaadi.
