Sonam to play Khubsoorat Rekha

Remember Rekha in the 1980 classic, Khubsoorat? Well, the gorgeous Sonam Kapoor is stepping into the diva’s shoes for the movie’s remake and she can’t wait for the shooting to begin. The film, to be shot in the royal palaces of Rajasthan, will have a young and contemporary feel to it.
Incidentally, Rekha is set to play Super Nani. Yes, that’s the title of the veteran actress’ next release, which sees her play a character similar to Sridevi’s in English Vinglish. Sharman Joshi plays Rekha’s grandson in the film.
