Special screening of Bhansali’s Heeramandi a star-studded affair
The special screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar was a star-studded affair with the likes of Salman Khan, Rekha, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, and Ananya Panday in attendance. However, conspicuous by their absence at the glitzy event were Bhansali’s favorite stars—Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. Heeramandi (Netflix), which features an ensemble cast that include Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, and Aditi Rao Hydari, also became the first Indian series to be showcased at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles.
