Sridevi immortalized in wax

September 4 was an emotional day for Boney Kapoor and his daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, for it was on this day that the wax model of Boney’s wife, the legendary Sridevi was unveiled in Singapore’s Madame Tussauds museum in the presence of her family.
The statue is a replica of Sridevi’s iconic look in the hit Hindi film song "Hawa Hawai" from the 80s cult film, Mr. India. The museum had made the big announcement about the unveiling of the wax model this year on August 13, Sridevi’s birth anniversary.
