SRK, not Aamir, to play astronaut Rakesh Sharma

After months of speculation, it is now confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will play astronaut Rakesh Sharma in his biopic titled Salute, after Aamir Khan decided to opt out of the project. Priyanka Chopra, who was slated to play Aamir’s wife, has also walked out now, as it is common knowledge that SRK and she no longer work together. It is not yet clear as to who will step into Priyanka’s shoes.
By the way, Shah Rukh is currently busy with Zero, opposite his Jab Tak Hai Jaan heroines, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. He plays a dwarf in the much awaited movie.
