Starry farewell to Sachin Tendulkar

Delirious crowds greeted cricket’s living legend Sachin Tendulkar on November 14 as he walked in to play his 200th and final match of his 24-year illustrious career, at Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium. Among them were Bollywood celebs like Aamir Khan (he’s also a close friend of Sachin), Kiran Rao, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Hrithik Roshan. Aamir was even invited to the commentary box where he proclaimed himself “a big Sachin fan.”

Those who couldn’t make it to the stadium took to Twitter to wish the master blaster. The last word must go to Anupam Kher who tweeted, “God never retires!”
